Navigation:  Receiving > Import ASN

The Import ASN (Advanced Shipment Notice) menu option and link allow the user to import a text file that contains information about a future Receiving. Once the ASN has been imported with expected quantities, the ASN Receiver can be used as a guide in anticipation of goods arriving on the dock.  

1. Select the Import ASN menu option or Import Advanced Ship Notices link and the user is sent to the Import Receiver page

The Import Receiver page will allow the user to select a file that contains pending Receipt information, upload the file and automatically create a Receiving

1.Select the Customer from the Choose a Customer drop down menu

2.Select the Warehouse from the Warehouse drop down menu

3.Select the Browse button to locate the Receiver file. This file must be formatted properly in order to be imported.  A copy of the Receiver Import Template file can be obtained from support@3plcentral.com.

4.Ensure the Receiver File box displays the filename

5.Select the Import button to begin the file import process
