Navigation:  Items > Creating an Assembly

From the Items Main Page you may create the Assembly SKU, but only after creating the component Items and adding inventory to the system.

To Create an Assembly SKU:

1.Click Items on the Menu Bar.

2.Click on Create Item found in the submenu bar or click on Create New Inventory Items found in the body of the screen.

When creating Assembly SKU's the following MUST be noted:

1.The Description, Unit of Measure and Assembly Tabs must be completed for the new Assembly SKU (Required).

2.Tracking Details appear under the Description Tab and will be entered at time of confirming Assembly.  Component SKU's may have Tracking Details which will be selected when creating Assembly.

3.Recur. Storage Tab should only be filled out if Recurring Storage charges will apply to the Assembled Item/SKU being created.

4.Qualifiers cannot be added to master assembly SKU's, but each component Item/SKU may have Qualifiers.
